RECharge Program

Recharge is an open, sex-positive, safe-space to learn about safer crystal meth use.  Drop-Ins occur twice a week, on Tuesdays from
5-8pm and Thursdays from 4-7 pm. Re-Charge offers a range of individualized services for those who use meth.

Re-Charge was specifically designed for men who have sex with men and individuals of trans experience who have sex with men. The program is committed to the practice of harm reduction.  Re-Charge will meet you where you are and help you reach your health and wellness goals.

Exponents offer crystal meth supportive services through:

  • The outpatient medically supervised chemical dependency program; The LGBT-specific program track;  

  • The 3rd Way Harm Reduction initiative;  

  • The Project InFORM young, gay/bisexual men and young transgender women between the ages of 18 & 28.

The Crystal Clear Project offers groups and individual therapy for people who are using crystal meth. The program also offers inpatient and outpatient services.

Bridging Access to Care

The "MentoKings" program at Brooklyn Access to Care provides supportive services to the LGBTQ Brooklyn community-at-large, including the Ballroom Community. With its specific interest in the Black and Latino MSM community, "MentoKings"  was designed to educate and improve the health, housing, and well-being of all members it serves. Those services include:

  • Community outreach & social activities

  • Group and individual counseling

  • Health education and behavioral change programs 

  • Drop-In services -
    Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 5 pm​

  • HIV testing & STI screenings 

  • Transgender specific services, and 

  • Mental Health Services

Streetsworks Project

Safe Horizon

Streetwork Project is a harm reduction drop-in center for homeless youth ages 13 to 25 years old. It provides case management, psychiatry, benefits enrollment, shelter referrals & advocacy, housing support & daily survival services, such as food, showers, laundry, clothing & hygiene supplies. Streetwork is also a syringe access program, as well as an overdose prevention program that gives out Naloxone kits, safer sniffing kits, fentanyl test strips & pipe tips. 

There are two drop-in centers:

  • Harlem
    (209 W. 125th St. 2nd floor)

  • Lower East Side
    (33 Essex St.) 

  • Overnight mobile outreach unit and an emergency shelter for youth under 21 years old.

The Lower East Side (LES) provides a zen space, which is helpful for "comedowns", a quiet place to meditate or read and hosts weekly yoga classes. 


Intake at Lower East Side Location only:
